DESCRIPTION

Another variation on the classic Flan with smooth texture and deep chocolatey flavor will leave you craving more. Using rare beans from Jamaica 🇯🇲, Opera’s 73% Jamaya Dark Chocolate is a single origin, low in sugar with deep cacao, woody vanilla notes & a dried fruit finish.

Chef Mandy has changed from using the inverse puff pastry to Pâte Feuilletée, a technique she has been working on that requires more skilled, resulting in a light and crispy texture. As it’s more labor-intensive, there will be limited quantities.

Regular, serves 4-7 (16cm diameter on top)

TASTING TIPS

We advise to keep the cake in room temperature on the day of delivery.
To keep overnight, put in the fridge and enjoy the cake within 2 days.

To reheat, preheat your oven to 170C and heat for 5 minutes until the custard centre is warm.
